Report from the Scientific Foundation for Tobacco Harm Reduction - A report looking at the various Nicotine Replacement Therapies available and their relative effectiveness.
Study by New Zealand Health – Compares the analysis of second-hand smoke against second-hand vapour.

Nicotine Dispenser – Origins of the E-Cigarette - Now this is really interesting. The tobacco companies tried to market a device that worked exactly like modern Electronic Cigarettes way back in 2005, but because it looked so awful, the market rejected it. All the relevant bodies were quite happy to promote and this (nicotine taxed) device at the time.However, when a clever Chinaman figures out how to shrink the mechanism into something smaller that could be mass-produced cheaply, suddenly their use by the general public is purported to be fraught with danger.
Chemicals in Tobacco Smoke. There are over 4,000 chemicals in tobacco smoke and at least 69 of those chemicals are known to cause cancer. This is a detailed analysis of the chemicals added to tobacco by the industry to make cigarettes taste acceptable, burn better and allow you to consume more nicotine.
